Obama said his farewell to the presidential office back in January and since that moment he has perceived President Trump making sure that the bulk of his policies don’t manage to last.
Trump went after the definitive repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and has taken the United States out of the Paris climate accord and just this previous week began to weakening down Obama’s program permitting people who stepped onto the country’s soil illegally as children to stay and keep their job positions here.
Obama has shown to be quite vocal when expressing opposition to the bulk of Trump’s decisions as they have occurred.
The moment he exited office, Obama stated in the video that he has required by people to “believe not in my ability to bring about change, but in yours.”
Within the summit, Obama stated he and his wife Michelle Obama intend to “hear directly from the future leaders we want to cultivate.”
“And what makes me so hopeful, so optimistic, is that so many of you have shown up, dived in and embraced the kind of active citizenship that makes our democracy work,” he stated.
What are your thoughts on this? Is this Obama-orchestrated summit the worst or the best thing young leaders should be included in?
